Two-particle coalescence conditions revisited

چکیده

The notion of the nth order local energy, generated by power Hamiltonian, has been introduced. two-particle coalescence conditions have derived from requirements that energy at point is non-singular and equal to Hamiltonian eigenvalue. first condition leads energy-independent constraints. second one state-specific. analysis done using a radial, one-dimensional, model Hamiltonian. valid in asymptotic region r∼0. set relations between expansion coefficients radial wave function into series with respect r.

Mal'cev Conditions Revisited

We characterize cosieves in locally presentable categories which are generated by a set of objects or are even principal. We apply our results to the category of algebraic theories where they are related to Mal’cev conditions dealt with in universal algebra.

Gravastar Energy Conditions Revisited

We consider the gravastar model where the vacuum phase transition between the de Sitter interior and the Schwarzschild or Schwarzschild–de Sitter exterior geometries takes place at a single spherical δ-shell. We derive sharp analytic bounds on the surface compactness (2m/r) that follow from the requirement that the dominant energy condition (DEC) holds at the shell. In the case of Schwarzschild...

Dislocation equilibrium conditions revisited

If there is an equilibrium arrangement of a given collection of dislocations, each having a fixed size and shape, in an externally loaded or unloaded elastic body, the corresponding potential energy will be stationary with respect to infinitesimal perturbations of the dislocation positions. This leads to the dislocation equilibrium conditions: the Peach– Koehler forces along the dislocation lin...

Arrested coalescence of particle-coated droplets into nonspherical supracolloidal structures.

Colloidal and supracolloidal structures with anisotropic shape and surface chemistry are potential building blocks for the fabrication of novel materials. Droplets or bubbles are often used as templates for the assembly of particles into supracolloidal structures of spherical shape. Particle-coated droplets or bubbles have recently been shown to also retain nonspherical geometries after deforma...
